Changing the Future of Cars as We Know It

California has been at the forefront of the sustainability and environmental movement since the beginning, and we don’t plan to give our spot up. California Assembly Member Phil Ting recently proposed legislation that would phase out the sale of new internal combustion vehicles by 2040.

While it may sound like a radical idea, it’s one that’s been explored by other countries leading the way such as Norway, Germany, and India. With an ambitious goal of lowering carbon emissions by 40% below 1990 levels by 2030, California will have to take some bold steps.
